The Arizona Athletics Group Club Team Program provides a range of instructional and competitive opportunities, emphasizing leadership and sportsmanship. For those looking to specialize in a particular event and enhance their skills, joining a club team can be an excellent way to receive tailored coaching and event-specific development.

Indoor Track/Winter Training for all age groups; December 1, 2025 – February 2, 2026: practice schedule and location delivered by each event group coach.

PRACTICE: Hoy Stadium, 1202 W Thomas Road, Phoenix 85013. Practice days are communicated in advance by the coaching staff.  Schedule updates, announcements, and general communications are done via the private mobile messaging platform TeamSnap; a link to join will be provided.

COMPETITION:  Most competitions are Saturday mornings (7 a.m. or 8 a.m.) with an occasional Friday evening or Sunday morning for events that are contested over two or more days.  ENTRY FEES range from $15 – $45 per meet and for some competitions per event.  There are four to six competitions (called “meets”) on the indoor schedule and eight, including the state championship, on the outdoor schedule.  Meets are contested at high schools and colleges across the greater Phoenix area and surrounding cities. Entry fees, travel expenses, and transportation are the responsibility of the athlete.  The Youth, Open, and Masters competition schedule is online at the association website – Arizona.USATF.org

ASSOCIATION MEMBERSHIP:  Athletes must be USA Track and Field (USATF) members for Group Accident Insurance Coverage and Event Participation Eligibility.  The Youth membership fee is $38.88 per calendar year, Open and Masters are $71.96.  The AAG Sports Academy has been a USATF Member Club since 2008. Our Club Number is 48-0360.  Include the club number in your association membership application.  Complete your USATF membership application online – USATF.org. UNIFORMS:  Team race singlet is $40.  Returning members can compete in their previous year’s uniform, provided it is in good condition.

EQUIPMENT:  All practice and competition equipment is provided. Footwear is the responsibility of the athlete.
